The Villa is a magnificently located property with it's own pool, overlooking the white sandy beach of Isla Canela and the Atlantic; the villa is made up of two apartments, which can be rented separately. When used as one unit the upstairs lounge converts into an additional bedroom which means there are six bedrooms. The spacious lounge has an inside dining area, comfortable lounge seating and an open fireplace with glass front. There is a large, private, shaded terrace with BBQ for outside dining. This overlooks the garden and is adjacent to the granite-topped kitchen.
The Upstairs Apartment has spectacular views over the beach and the sea. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 en suite bathroom and 1 shower room. The lounge has an inside dining area and lounge area. There is a large, square, sheltered balcony by the granite-topped kitchen for outside dining and a huge panoramic roof-terrace with BBQ for the exclusive use of the upstairs occupiers. The pool with sun-loungers in the garden is a shared facility with the downstairs apartment.
The Downstairs Apartment has sea views from the lounge. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a double sofabed in the spacious lounge. The lounge has an inside dining area and comfortable lounge seating. There is a large private covered terrace with BBQ for outside dining which overlooks the garden and is adjacent to the granite-topped kitchen. The pool with sun-loungers in the corner of the garden is a shared facility with the Upstairs Apartment. 
Isla Canela is the coastal area of Ayamonte, a bustling Andalusian border town in the Huelva district of Andalucia. The beach is very safe and ideal for water sports, with a sandbank out to sea where "almejas" (mussels) can be fished. The beaches are highly prized by Spaniards, but still little known to foreigners. The property has sea views from upstairs and downstairs lounges, with a breathtaking panorama from the rooftop terrace of the Atlantic and of the Guadiana River, which separates Spain from the Algarve and Portugal. The private pool can be shared by the two rental units. When used as a villa the upstairs lounge can create a sixth bedroom. Restaurants and cafes are 3mins walk, 4* hotel 5mins walk, and supermarket 10mins. The marina area, Punta del Moral, is a 5-6 minute drive and in the summer evenings can also be reached through the use of a small 'train'. Ayamonte has a lovely fishing port, an 'old town', many walking streets, beautiful shops and tapas bars. |
