Ayamonte

Ayamonte is the historical crossing point between Spain and Portugal. A picturesque fishing town, it is the focus of a region that includes a number of quiet villages which provide a perfect base for exploring the region. The beaches and marina at nearby Isla Canela offer much for the keen water sports enthusiasts, with opportunities to take part in sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
